Marl Ward Election 20/01/2011
We have been out today canvassing and delivering leaflets for the forthcoming election in the Marl Ward. Our candidate, Sue Shotter, is being well received on the doorstep.
Good luck Mike, I can imagine if there are two of you working in tandem in the Marl Ward it has to be good for the residents, and you have proven how hard you work on our behalf. I hope that people remember that these are `local elections` and we need someone who lives in the ward to protect and solve our problems. Good luck to Sue Shotter as well, she has my vote.
Julie Fallon lives less than 2 minutes walk from Sue Shotter and is literally just over the border of the Marl/Deganwy wards and she will be giving up her job to concentrate on the councillor position if elected. She was also extremely complimentary about Mike Priestley when she called at my house and said how she hoped to get a chance to build a really good relationship with him.Refreshing to see that there is no mud slinging going on..will be a close one..
anon 00:00 whilst i admit Mike does a great job, is it really such a great idea to have two councillors from the same party in the same ward? Where will the objectiveness be? It would be human nature for them to push things through together without anyone actually having a chance to disagree with their ideas?
Oscar, so true of them. I think it right you have had your say about things, if it were not for you the shallow side of this would not have seen light of day.
I have seen your post on other blogs, I am supporting Susan Shotter and believe we will make a great team. I will not be drawn into criticising any other candidate.
Julie Fallon called here today with the Conservative Welsh Assembly candidate - Sorry Mike but I promised them both my votes.

ReplyDeleteMike, i think anon 15:09 means she will be voting for Julie in the local election and Janett Finch in the Assembly election
