I was pleased to receive an independent report from Keep Wales Tidy this week, in this report it found that Conwy had the cleanest streets in Wales. My thanks go to all our staff.
I believe there is more that we can do and I am determined to improve on this excellent result. Working together and using technology is one way forward. Tourism is our bread and butter in Conwy and news like this will be a welcome boost.

New Leaflet
A good day today, nearly 1000 households delivered despite the rain. Looking to deliver in the Conwy Valley this Saturday.
Recycling/Waste Management
Take a look at this, an example to us all or too extreme?

We still have one or two who say they can't cope with the recycling scheme in Conwy, does this put them to shame?

Delivering Llandudno Jct/Craig y Don
We have been out the last couple of evenings delivering the latest leaflet in Llandudno Junction and receiving a great response. Last night I arrived home and on the doormat were two reply slips, one offering to help and the other pledging support.
I have been busy today with council duties and my thanks go to the people who were out delivering in Craig Y Don.

The appeal for toiletries for our troops came to an end on Tuesday and we handed over many Hundreds of items to The Royal Welsh, this appeal has been hard work but one that I am pleased to have been apart of.I would like to thank all that have contributed to this appeal and I pray for a safe tour for our troops. I think the picture says more than I could write, if I can do anything to assist these great people, I will.
